Choose the correct format
Dr. MUD’s bath-salt range includes natural and scented versions. MILITA offers 300 g and 500 g sizes. Size identifies the amount, not the scent or whether the formulation includes colorants. Check those details on the actual pack.
Bath salt, a salt soap bar and an oil-based salt scrub do different jobs. Dissolve bath salt as directed, massage scrub over damp body skin, and lather and rinse soap. The word “salt” does not make the products interchangeable.
Preparing a bath
The manufacturer describes dissolving approximately one glass of salt in a bath and soaking for about 15 minutes. Treat this as its general direction: check the current label, bath size and a comfortable water temperature before use.
Use comfortably warm water. If your skin tends to feel dry, avoid long, hot bathing; the AAD’s general dry-skin advice favors brief washing in warm water. Adjust the ritual to comfort rather than staying in longer for a stronger sensation.
A separate option for feet
For foot care, the manufacturer describes approximately half a cup of salt and a soak of about 10 minutes. Dissolve the salt before placing your feet in the water and have a clean towel ready.
Rinse afterward and dry the feet carefully. Then apply foot cream to dry areas and heels if needed. Do not continue a soak on damaged skin or when the product feels uncomfortable.
Natural or scented?
Scented versions may include Parfum, cosmetic colorants and individually named fragrance allergens. A naturally sourced mineral does not automatically mean a fragrance-free finished product. Ask for the current label if you need to avoid fragrance.
Choose scent as a sensory preference rather than a guaranteed effect. The color in a photograph is not a reliable way to establish fragrance strength or the complete formula.
After the soak
Rinse away the salt, pat the skin dry and use a body moisturizer if wanted. Bath salt is not intended to stay on the skin as a cream.
A straightforward home routine needs only your chosen salt pack, a towel and a suitable lotion or foot cream. Read the lotion-versus-body-butter comparison for texture choices, or the INCI guide for ingredient names.
